Player-Character levels and skill levels are not the only criteria for advancement in the chain of command. A person may be brave and true, but have little time for play. Conversely, a player with a bad attitude and demeanor may play a lot and advance skills swiftly. Both of these qualities can both help and hinder. In my personnel views, you may kick ass at role-playing but if your never online your worthless to me. Superior achievement in HONOR, TRUTH, and VIRTUE is respected and rewarded first and foremost. And being available to play is almost just as equally important. These views are not done to discourage you; in fact, they are made to promote game play and closeness of players. If you bestow the virtues to join an honorable guild full of hard working role-players please contact Enixx Bloodstone and submit an application. Your application will be reviewed by the high council and you WILL be interviewed as soon possible.

As a result of trust, wisdom, and expertise, and those qualities mentioned above a few people have been appointed to high positions of leadership. It is hoped that everyone will trust the judgment of those in command that all appointments are deserved.

There are six stages of advancement, which have been described below. The first three are Council level positions, which allow a vote in issues that come to Council as well as recruiting privileges, which extends to the rank of Templar/Mystic.

Please be aware that each member recruiting someone to our fellowship is obligated to be their sole sponsor and Advisor. The Advisor must send them a special application for membership and have them return it with a copy also sent to the Scribe Lord. Please note the special instructions given below under the title "Scribe" regarding this.

DragonHeart

Dragon Heart is the highest ruling authority in this fellowship. He has the oversight of all activities of his Lords and is kept informed and advised by them. He has policy-making and veto powers that may be revoked or overridden only by a majority vote of the Lords. He is overall military commander, deciding war and peace, and may have emergency powers to ensure the security of the property and persons of this fellowship.

Chancellor

A Chancellor is the second highest office one can achieve as member of our fellowship. A Chancellor's work is the immediate oversight of particular spheres of work or duties within this realm. They have considerable authority and work as direct advisors to DragonHeart, making recommendations for promotions and helping define matters of policy, diplomacy and rendering judgments against offenders of the code. They are even capable of overriding policies and the veto of the DragonHeart if they, by a vote of the majority, agree to do so. There will be Two appointed Chancellors in the fellowship. Chancellors will be chosen by a vote of all Sainthood, Lords who meet the requirements to be Chancellors will stand before their peers and be recognized.

Lord

A Lordship is the Third highest office one can achieve as member of our fellowship. A Lord's work is the same as that of the Chancellor's. They have considerable authority and work as advisors to the Chancellor and the DragonHeart, making recommendations for promotions and helping define matters of policy, diplomacy and rendering judgments against offenders of the code. They are even capable of overriding policies and the veto of DragonHeart if they, by a vote of the majority, agree to do so. Two Lords may be appointed to Chancellor by DragonHeart to assist him in the execution of all operations within the fellowship. The Chancellor has complete authority over all other Lords and is second only in the right of command to DragonHeart himself.

Mystic-Knight

Mystic-Knights are the most powerful fighters and magic-users in our fellowship --heroes of great renown and accomplishment. They are the elite bodyguards of the Lords. They have proved themselves courageous and deadly in combat. Mystic-Knights have a voice in matters that they feel are worthy of the Council's attention. Mystic-Knights may also be selected to fulfill positions and duties that DragonHeart and Lords devise as needed. They may also recruit possible candidates into the ranks of SaintHood.

Knight-Templar

A Knighthood is given to every Templar who has proven himself loyal to our fellowship and code consistently, and is a formidable fighter in battle against many kinds of foes. He must be brave and completely committed to our cause. For this he will be rewarded with a mighty steed which he must care fore. At this point, a Knight should wish to refine his battle skills, and take up the arcane ways of the mystic, if he has not already done so. The knight will be strongly encouraged to do this. Knights have a voice in matters that they feel are worthy of the Councils attention. Knights may also be selected to fulfill positions and duties that DragonHeart and Lords devise as needed. They may also recruit possible candidates into the ranks of SaintHood.

Templar/Mystic

A Mystic is the next stage in the process of becoming a Master of the Arcane. A Mystic is a full member of SoV and enjoys all the privileges therein, including access to the member site, and the right to advance in rank within our Fellowship. A Mystic is awarded the standard Uniform of SoV and may wear them with pride. He may keep his former items as mementos or bestow them to a Scribe.

A special ceremony will be held for this event. There will be a gathering of the Saints with DragonHeart presiding, and he will bestow the aforementioned articles of clothing, symbols, of full Sainthood to them. Mystics will also be highly encouraged in their studies of the arcane, and advancement to a higher rank will be his reward for his hard work. Mystics should be aware that advancement will quicker due to their extremely difficult task of achieving mastery of the ways of Alchemy and Magery.

A Templar is the next stage in the process of becoming a Knight in the service of our fellowship. A Templar is a full member of SoV and enjoys all the privileges therein, including access to the member site, and the right to advance in rank within our Fellowship. A Templar is awarded the standard Uniform of SoV and may wear them with pride. He may keep his former items as mementos or bestow them to a Scribe.

A special ceremony will be held for this event. There will be a gathering of the Saints with DragonHeart presiding, and he will bestow the aforementioned articles of clothing, symbols, of full Sainthood to them. Both Mystics and Templars may recruit possible candidates into the ranks of SaintHood.

Others

A Craftsman is one who has demonstrated high loyalty to the cause of the SaintHood. They strive to gain their skills in order to best serve the guild. They will provide services of the highest level only and will do so for the betterment of all members. These members are granted access to guild areas of production and are provided protection from hard and good for their trade. The craftsmen will often work in teams that will support each other craft. All craftsmen will report to a Head craftsman who will coordinate production and distribution of guild supplies. Those of the highest level of their craft will have title bestowed upon them, as they are truly masters in their field and worthy of such recognition.

A Scribe is one who must prove that he is faithful in learning our ways and displays the virtues needed to become a full Saint. Scribes will be given a Uniform by their Sponsor or the Scribe Lord. The testing period is a mandatory two weeks, wherein their performance will be evaluated by their Sponsor, or, in lieu of one, Saints they adventure with during that time. The Sponsor is officially responsible for sending the Scribe an application, giving him the aforementioned items, and sending a special evaluation report to the Scribe Lord at the end of the trial period. That report will be the basis for the Scribe being accepted or denied membership by the Council of Lords.

A Friend of SoV is usually a player-character of a member who is one of the member's "family" or kin, but not "of SoV." They can never hold office or rank, but can lend their services to the Fellowship. This is also the basic status of all allies of SoV. A member must "vouch" for his kinfolk, or member of another guild. Consequently, that member's reputation, status, (and possibly, membership) suffers if this friend betrays the Fellowship. This "vouching" for them allows them limited access to our facilities, the use and possession of keys, and the use of our property and/or the taking of equipment. They should be paid for their services, or at least a small donation should be given them, since they have no right of access to Fellowship funds.
